Original Landlordz@Turtle Island is dedicated to the forgotten history of the Indigenous peoples of the east coast & the Caribbean. Most people are unaware that the oldest reservations are located on the east coast; such as Poosepatuck in Long Island NY, Brotherton in New Jersey and Pamunkey.

There are also many misconceptions regarding the indigenous peoples of the Caribbean. The notion that all of the aboriginal peoples of the Caribbean are extinct is a myth created by the colonizers/historians/gatekeepers to disinherit us from our lands. It is quite evident that we are still here because the Garifuna still exist and the culture and language has been preserved. They have also perpetuated the narrative that all of the Garifuna, Kalinago, Arawaks & indigenous Caribbean folk with dark skin and kiny hair came to the islands via shipwrecked slave ships from Africa. This story (the same story created about North American dark-skinned aboriginals such as the Seminoles, etc.) was concocted in order to disassociate the original inhabitants from the land. By putting this fairy-tale on the record, the laws state that these Amerindians only have rightful claim to Africa. My book Olmec Renaissance: Aboriginal Moors/Muurs of the Americas debunks all of these fallacies. The article below can be found at: https://pamunkey.org/reservation/
